https://www.edjoin.org/Home/JobPosting/2228573 Use data to make a real difference Rocklin Unified School District is standing up a new Data Services Team, and we're hiring our first Data Analytics & Insights Specialist to help build it from the ground up. If you've been looking for analytics work where what you build actually changes how decisions get made - not just another dashboard nobody opens - this role is for you. You'll work with a modern stack (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, SQL, Python, and AI-assisted tools), partner directly with senior leadership, and see the impact of your work on roughly 12,000 students and the staff who serve them. We're a public school district of about 18 schools in Placer County - the work is meaningful, the pace is sustainable, and the benefits are genuinely good. Who we're looking for We're especially interested in candidates coming from the private sector who want more purpose in their work, or recent grads (Bachelor's or Master's in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, CS, or a related field) ready to take on a senior-level analyst role and grow into it. K-12 or public sector experience is a plus but absolutely not required - we'll teach you the education side. EDUCATION
: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field required. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Relevant work experience in analytics, data reporting, or business intelligence may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
: Experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data-driven decision support roles. Demonstrated experience using analytics and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Elastic, or similar tools to develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for executive or operational use. Experience leveraging AI-assisted analytics and productivity tools to support data analysis, reporting, automation, and insight generation. Experience collaborating with technical teams (e.g., systems engineers or developers) to support data integration, reporting, and analytics outcomes. Experience in the public sector, education, or regulated private sector data environments preferred but not required. 2 CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATIONS :
Demonstrated ability to travel to various work locations in a timely manner, meet the travel requirements of the position, and transport necessary equipment and supplies to multiple job sites. Pay:
