Job Description

Unison Systems is seeking a Data Analyst with AI focus to join our client's team in Denver, CO. This is a contract position through year-end, based onsite five days per week. You'll support a Fortune 500 company's business teams in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment working alongside experienced senior analysts.
Responsibilities:
Build reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for business teams including Sales, Retention, and Operations Use SQL to extract data and Python to clean, organize, and prepare datasets for analysis Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude to support query writing, summarizing findings, and generating documentation Create clear, easy-to-understand visualizations and dashboards that communicate key insights Assist in converting manual, repetitive processes into automated workflows using SQL or Python Partner with senior analysts and managers to clarify requirements and deliver actionable insights Develop technical and business skills through hands-on experience and mentorship
Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in a data analyst or analytics role (internships, bootcamps, and academic projects welcome) Foundational SQL skills including joins, filtering, and aggregations Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and basic scripting Exposure to AI tools and interest in applying them to improve productivity Strong written and verbal communication skills with willingness to present findings to groups Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and accept feedback Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field - or equivalent hands-on experience Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is a plus Unison Systems is Colorado's leading IT staffing and engineering consulting firm - apply today and let us put our 27 years of expertise to work for you.
