Data Analyst

Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and ETL processes to ensure accuracy and completeness. Design and develop dashboards and visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. Collaborate within Agile project teams to deliver timely data solutions aligned with project goals and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or new initiatives. Develop database schemas and optimize database design using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems for efficient data storage and retrieval. Automate data workflows using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Talend, or other scripting tools to streamline operations. Support project management activities by tracking progress, documenting requirements in Visio, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience with data analysis skills including SQL, R, Python, and familiarity with ETL processes. Strong proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating compelling reports. Knowledge of database design principles and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices. Ability to perform business analysis by translating complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences. Experience with Linked Data concepts and working with large datasets for analytics purposes. Technical skills in VBA, Bash (Unix shell scripting), Talend, or similar tools are highly desirable.
