Job Description

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain, IT, business management, or related field is preferred but not essential
Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and use of SAP materials management is a must.
  • At least 1 year in a master data management, customer service, or demand planning role
  • 3 years are required if no degree
  • Excellent problem resolution and communication skills
  • Excellent at using Microsoft Excel
  • Capable of reading/writing code (e.
g., Python, SQL, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
  • Use of Winshuttle and Analysis is a plus.
  • Use of SQL, SAS, or other data tools is a nice to have
Responsibilities:
  • Client's Onboard Services, Material Logistics team oversees the planning, distribution, and delivery of all products used in the passenger cabinThe role of the master data specialist is to:
  • Maintain all areas related to Master Data in SAP, including but not limited to Materials Master, Contracts, Source Lists, Order and Delivery Schedules, Pricing and Station Catalogs
  • Assist in the development of lifecycles, processes, and procedures for setting up and maintaining controlling master data for IFS logistics such as item masters, locations, item sources, accounting information, etc
  • Enter and maintain master data to support business changes such as product launches, sunsets, new suppliers and warehouses, and updates to accounting
  • Work closely across organizational boundaries with stakeholders including planning, service delivery, warehousing, inventory reconciliation, supply chain management, finance, tax teams, and SAP Centre of Excellence
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of master data related issues including cross-organization work as appropriate
  • Manage multiple systems keeping master data in line through all systems utilized by IFS Logistics
  • Review existing methods of data management to make recommendations on streamlining current processes
  • Be well versed in all OBS processes to help brainstorm process improvement opportunities
  • Provide insight and information for automation efforts geared at modernizing workflows to achieve greater efficiency
  • Support SAP users by facilitating system permissions requests with security teams
  • Administer training regarding relevant logistics systems to assist users with becoming capable users
  • Create reports that clearly detail status of work products and indicate next steps, blockers, stakeholder responsibilities, etc
  • Leverage AI tools to help establish new methods for managing workloads and processes associated with Master Data initiatives including systems permission coordination
