Job Description

SUMMARY The primary responsibilities of the HMIS Associate include but are not limited to; quality assurance within the HMIS team, design and automation of reports, database maintenance, specialized reporting to funders, research projects with the CCHMIS data, privacy and security of CCHMIS data, data quality and compliance checks, basic data analytics, and interfacing with the software vendor regarding system compliance with HUD data standards, and documentation of all reporting processes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and complete data uploads from Community Based Organizations. Produce, review and distribute data quality reports to customers. Advise community boards, planning entities and agencies on data deficiencies. Monitor all contributing agencies for adherence to CARES' Policies and Procedures. Reach out to agencies with data quality issues and provide technical assistance on how to improve data quality. Assist agencies in correcting data reporting errors. In-person evaluation of data intake procedures and data entry at agency locations.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in a homeless management information system preferred. Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
EDUCATION
Associate degree preferred. 2 years relevant experience may be substituted for degree

Collaboration with multiple partners. TRAVEL Travel in the field as necessary. Some overnight travel may be required.

Pine West, Albany home office; virtually three days a week. Subject to change at any time.
WORK WEEK
Full time role, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday with hours flexible between 7:30am-6:00pm HOURLY $25.44-$26.44 POSITION
