Parts Data Management Analyst I - Product Engineering Support#26-10193
$20.00-$20.27 per hour

All On-site Job Description Major PurposeDevelops BOM (bills of material) structures and analyzes Part Data inputs from engineering functional areas such as product design or manufacturing engineering to support successful implementation of new products and product updates for a specific manufacturing unit. As an entry level role working with these data structures the completed work may be reviewed by supervisor or more senior roles on the team. Work completed by this role is within a predefined BOM structure and limited to a small number of functional teams to support.
Major Duties? Support others by carrying out simple product development or engineering tasks, such as gathering data or preparing documents. Involves following established procedures.? Perform a broad range of tests requiring detailed assessment, measurement, and judgment.? Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.? Extract relevant data from information provided by others, and input it into spreadsheets or standard formats.? Draft and maintain basic technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and create backup files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.? Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports, and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software.? Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.? Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Position Title:
Specification Analyst Specific Position Requirements:
- Max Bill Rate
- Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.
- Complete task based, SAP data coordination and updates for design changes to complex parts and assemblies related to major programs and product improvements by analyzing engineering data and other related data for the Product Delivery Process (PDP)
- Use the engineering change process to create, coordinate and maintain complex Bills of Material, Material Masters and part attribute data in SAP and PDMLink Enterprise systems
- Audit and process various request forms from the business related to specifications
- Use knowledge and experience to serve as liaison and consultant providing feedback that affects specification and decision activities; serves as specification representative for project teams
- Complete various specification audits and monitors Engineering changes to ensure data integrity and uniformity
- Coordinate implementation decisions of inter-factory decision changes
- Facilitate required multi-discipline meetings, records and publishes meeting minutes and works closely with other affected stake holders to establish a consistent pattern for adopting specifications.
