Assessment Administrator SUMMARY:
Supports the Assessment Administrator to coordinate assessment activities, analyze assessment results, assist in data collection, and provide training on national, state, and district assessments. Efficiently prepare assessment reports, charts, graphs and presentations for district leaders, the Board of Trustees, principals, administrators, and teachers utilizing an extensive knowledge of Excel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes student data in Excel on achievement, demographic, AYP and other data and creates reports, charts, graphs, and presentations for district leaders, the Board of Trustees, and other stakeholders. Assists in the coordination of assessment activities for the district. Communicates with stakeholders to provide information regarding testing and assessment materials, schedules, guidelines, and test administration procedures. Coordinates the production, distribution, collection, and processing of assessment materials for state and district assessments. Provides test administration training and troubleshooting support for principals, administrators, testers, proctors, and teachers for Idaho Reading Indicator (IRI), the Idaho Standard Achievement Test (ISAT) by Smarter Balance, and other assessments as required. Ensures the accuracy of all data that is collected and reported. Reviews Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) accountability reports from the state to ensure accuracy. Coordinates district and state data management systems. Collaborates with the Information Technology department in determining system technology needs for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing staff projects, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, and disseminating information. Attends faculty meetings as required. Assumes responsibility for his or her continuing professional growth and development by attendance at inservices or trainings. Seeks assistance should emergencies arise. Represents the school district in a positive manner. Knows and follow school district policy and chain of command. Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma required; one to two years of related office experience or business field preferred. Experience in data collection and analysis using Excel, as well as state testing systems preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Extensive knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, use of formulas, and creation of charts and graph Knowledge of word processing, data bases and reports Knowledge of automated office equipment and efficient office procedures Ability to communicate effectively Works well with staff and the public Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to work under pressures and deadlines Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret governmental regulations and legal documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference. Ability to conduct basic math functions, as well as manipulate formulas in spreadsheets.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with severe abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing (Microsoft Office, Office 365), spreadsheets (Excel), databases, presentation software and accounting/financial software. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of staff and students.
