Job Description The Lead, Customer Master Data & Analytics, within the Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization, supports the Order-to-Cash (OTC) Global Process Lead by ensuring strong governance, data quality, and operational excellence for Customer Master Data across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems. This role provides people leadership and partners cross-functionally to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely customer data that enables effective OTC execution, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making, while driving continuous improvement, analytics, and process innovation. Responsibilities Lead the Customer Master Data vision, roadmap, and governance framework across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems. Serve as the senior point of contact for Customer Master Data across Customer Service, Supply Chain, Pricing, Finance/AR, Commercial, and IT. Define and enforce global customer data standards, stewardship practices, and data quality controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Customer Master Data processes, balancing global standardization with operational agility. Oversee Customer MDM/DSP (Syniti - Data Stewardship Platform) operating models, including intake, validation, approvals, stewardship, escalation, and audit readiness. Lead and manage DSP workflows to ensure timely processing, SLA adherence, and high data quality. Support end-to-end project delivery, including design, test, and rollout of SAP enhancements, integrations, and data remediation initiatives. Lead medium-to-large scale initiatives using Smartsheet project management methodology. Maintain and update Customer Master Data SOPs and country variants following process or system enhancements. Deliver executive-level reporting and analytics on data quality, KPIs, and process performance. Drive AI-enabled automation initiatives such as duplicate detection, intelligent validation, and workflow optimization. Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, privacy, and SOX requirements related to customer data. Lead and manage a team of 3-5 analysts supporting customer onboarding for U.S. sales organizations. Directly manage, coach, and develop team members through performance management, capability building, and career development. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data & Analytics within complex enterprise environments. Solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Pricing, Commercial, and IT. Demonstrated ability to influence, drive change, and operate independently within a matrixed, global organization. Proven experience leading process improvement and data quality initiatives with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and operational excellence. Strong project management capabilities, including experience managing medium-to-large initiatives using Smartsheet or similar tools. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate broad direction into clear, actionable insights. High proficiency in Excel. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Power BI, Oracle, and data modeling concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines. Demonstrated people leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and team development, aligned with AbbVie leadership behaviors. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a formal MDM framework and data stewardship platforms (e.g., DSP/Syniti). Prior exposure to internal audit, SOX, or regulatory compliance related to master data. Experience supporting or leading
