Data Quality Lead RCR Technology Corporation - 4.5 Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Qualifications SQL Data quality monitoring Data pipelines Data validation Cross-functional collaboration Data warehouse Master data management Cross-functional communication Database software proficiency Full Job Description The Data Quality Lead is responsible for leading the execution of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Data Quality (DQ) controls framework, ensuring data quality is quantifiable, repeatable, auditable, and proactively managed across all EDW pipelines and layers. This role partners closely with Data Owners/Stewards, EDW Engineering, Governance, and Program Management to operationalize data quality standards, rules, metrics, monitoring, and remediation processes. The Data Quality Lead owns day-to-day DQ execution oversight, issue triage, reporting, and continuous improvement, while ensuring alignment with business outcomes, regulatory reporting needs, and audit expectations. Key Responsibilities Execute the EDW data quality (DQ) controls framework across pipelines and layers. Implement and maintain standardized DQ rules, metadata, thresholds, and severity. Validate business rules and critical data elements (CDEs) with Data Owners/Stewards. Manage DQ rule lifecycle and change control (create, update, approve, retire). Maintain DQ monitoring, alerting, and exception management. Triage DQ failures, assess impact, and coordinate remediation with engineering and business teams. Maintain failure evidence (records, metrics, audit trails) for traceability and compliance. Deliver DQ dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting to stakeholders. Define and track DQ metrics aligned to SLAs, success criteria, and governance needs. Serve as the day-to-day DQ liaison and drive continuous improvement across teams. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Management roles supporting enterprise data warehouses. Strong understanding of EDW architectures, data pipelines, and multi-layer data processing. Hands-on experience implementing and operating data quality frameworks, rules, thresholds, and monitoring solutions. Deep knowledge of DQ dimensions (Accuracy, Completeness, Timeliness, Consistency, Integrity, Uniqueness, Validity). Experience working with business stakeholders to translate business rules into executable DQ controls. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to query systems using SQL, abstract data, and clearly summarize and present data Strong working knowledge of data quality and master data management concepts Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Medicaid, healthcare, or government reporting environments. Familiarity with cloud-based EDW platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure). Experience with DQ tooling, metadata repositories, or rule engines (custom or commercial). Experience applying Generative AI/ML techniques to improve data quality operations (e.g., prompt engineering for rule generation and documentation, anomaly detection, and automated issue classification), with appropriate governance, validation, and auditability. Exposure to audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements. Experience standing up DQ governance processes or pilot subject-area rollouts. Experience using one or more of the following
BI Tools:
Tableau, Power BI or Cognos. Hands-on experience using JIRA for project tracking, issue management, workflow customization, and facilitating collaboration among cross-functional teams. Knowledge of state federal reporting requirements for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Strong working knowledge of change, incident, and project management procedures and best practices
