Analytical Data Quality Control (QC) Analyst

Job Overview The Analytical Data QC Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of analytical data used for reporting, decision-making, and compliance. This role performs detailed quality checks, investigates data issues, documents findings, and collaborates with data producers, analysts, and stakeholders to maintain high data quality standards. Responsibilities Perform review of 100% of the data information Perform routine and ad hoc data quality checks on analytical datasets, reports, documents and spreadsheets. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources. Identify, document, and escalate data anomalies, trends, and root causes. Reconcile discrepancies between source systems and downstream analytical outputs. Prepare detailed documentation of QC procedures, findings, and remediation actions. Partner with data producers, analysts, and stakeholders to resolve data quality issues. Support continuous improvement of data quality frameworks, rules, and controls. Ensure compliance with internal standards (SOPs), regulatory requirements (protocols), and data governance policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Experience working with spreadsheets in Excel. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in data quality, analytics, reporting, or quality control. Familiarity with data quality frameworks or tools. Background in regulated or data-sensitive environments (science, finance, healthcare, operations, etc.) Experience documenting QC processes and audit evidence.

Pay:

$44,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
