The Digital Lab and Plant Operations team is one of the verticals within Digital R D, focused on developing and delivering digital products to allow the R D organization to run efficiently and reach its strategic goals. Our team plays a critical role equipping the R D organization to run efficient and modern lab and plant operations that keep pace with science, while fueling AI-enabled decision making with scientific data. As the Product Owner Scientific Data Analytics , you lead the digital delivery of next generation scientific data analytics platforms for the organization. Working with R D scientists, bioinformaticians, and laboratory teams, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital product(s) that enable researchers to extract meaningful insights from complex proteomics data, high-throughput screening results, and experimental datasets. You empower the organization to accelerate drug discovery and development through streamlined data analysis workflows, advanced visualization capabilities, and integrated analytics solutions that transform raw scientific data into actionable intelligence. Main Responsibilities:

Demand Intake & Management:

Collaborate closely with R D business stakeholders to develop a clear vision, ensuring products evolve with R D business needs and drive high maturity. Lead the strategic demand ideation of your Digital Products, including sourcing external innovation, coordinating with R D business and key stakeholders, drive ideation working sessions, and ensure effective product prioritization. Work with team leadership to develop the long-term strategy and delivery roadmap for your products. Provide input to delivery team for Product improvements or expansion requests based on feedback heard from R D business and/or end users. Support with the triaging of operational demand against Product roadmaps and delivery plans.

Digital Product Delivery:

Lead the product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes through regular releases. Develop a detailed and executable product delivery plan and timeline across design, build, and run activities; lead the product through governance requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand R D business needs, gather requirements, establish user stories, and define product features; Manage backlog refinement and drive features prioritization effort. Drive and coordinate the selection of development tools. Communicate effectively across non-technical stakeholders, technical stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of outcomes aligned to R D business needs and value. Support digital product go/no-go recommendations at stage gates based on supporting data and evidence. Define, monitor, and analyze business and performance related product-level KPIs, reporting outcomes to team leadership and key collaborators. Prepare and present reports to senior management on product performance, Progress, and areas for improvement, including participating in demos and retrospectives.

About You Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product management, project management in a technical field, R D data management, or other related field Advanced degree (PhD, MS) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Structural Biology, Bioengineering, Computational Sciences) or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience in digital product management, particularly in digital research lab systems within the pharmaceutical R D or life sciences context • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, drug discovery and development processes Track record of delivering high-impact products in pharmaceutical research or life sciences, demonstrating ability to meet time, scope, cost, and quality expectations Experience developing products with Agile methodologies Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to bridge technical and business teams •Strong facilitation skills in design-thinking workshops and ideation sessions with diverse stakeholder groups Strong problem-solving skills and ability to derive value from data pipelines and workflows to address business challenges Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective data products
