Data Analyst / Analytics Specialist (2-5 Years Experience) Contract | Hybrid (Boston, MA)
Pay Rate:
Up to $35/hr We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Analytics Specialist to join a dynamic analytics team. In this role, you'll turn raw data into meaningful insights that help drive smarter business decisions, improve processes, and support strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real-world business problems, working with data end-to-end, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights Work with data from collection through cleansing, transformation, and reporting Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support business needs Translate business requirements into clear analytical and reporting solutions (KPIs, metrics, logic) Partner with teams across the business to support data-driven decision-making Improve data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy Help identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline data processes Support advanced analytics and data science initiatives by preparing datasets What We're Looking For 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business analysis Strong SQL skills (data querying and manipulation required) Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Understanding of data structures, data quality, and reporting best practices Ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions Exposure to statistical analysis or data modeling concepts Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments is a plus Nice to Have Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related regulated industries Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting/automation tools Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams What You Can Expect Hands-on work with meaningful, data-driven projects Exposure to modern analytics tools and technologies Collaborative team environment where your insights make an impact Opportunity to grow your skills in analytics and data engineering practices
