$60,000-$70,000/annually Reports to: Dean, School of Nursing Position Summary The Assessment Data Management & Analytics Specialist supports the School of Nursing's centralized assessment and student success infrastructure by managing assessment data systems and producing actionable analytics. Reporting to the director, Center for Outcomes, Measurement, Practice Assessment, and Student Success, this position ensures accurate data integration, timely reporting, and accessible analytics that support continuous quality improvement, accreditation compliance, and data-informed decision-making. Position Impact This role strengthens the School's ability to leverage assessment and student performance data to improve progression, retention, and completion outcomes while reducing faculty administrative burden and enhancing accreditation readiness across all nursing programs. Primary Responsibilities Manage assessment data within Insights for Campus Outcomes (eLumen), including competency mapping, rubric configuration, data validation, and report generation. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual analytic tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) tracking enrollment, progression, retention, graduation, NCLEX outcomes, and competency attainment. Integrate data from eLumen, the learning management system, student information systems, and institutional datasets. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance with institutional data governance standards. Produce routine and ad hoc reports supporting program review, accreditation, and grant reporting. Support development of early-alert indicators and performance monitoring tools in collaboration with the director and student success partners. 11 Provide technical guidance and training for faculty and staff on assessment reports and dashboards. Document data definitions, work: flows, and reporting processes to support sustainability. Credentials and Experience Earned bachelor's or master's degree in data analytics, information systems, education, assessment, nursing, or a related field, Minimum of three years of experience in higher education data management, assessment analytics, institutional research, or a related area. Experience working with assessment or student data systems (e.g., eLumen 01• comparable platforms). Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Demonstrated ability to integrate data across systems and produce standardized, reliable reports. School of Nursing Position Ad Assessment Data Management & Analytics Specialist The School of Nursing at Notre Dame of Maryland University seeks an Assessment Data Management & Analytics Specialist to support assessment, accreditation, competency-based education, and student success initiatives across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Reporting to the Director of the Center for Outcomes, Measurement, Practice Assessment, and Student Success (COMPASS), this position plays a key role in developing and maintaining assessment data systems, generating dashboards and reports, and supporting data-informed decision-making. The specialist will collaborate with faculty and administrators to collect, analyze, and communicate student learning, program outcome, and accreditation data that support continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the implementation of innovative assessment and analytics systems designed to enhance student success, monitor competency development, and support accreditation reporting. This is a full-time, 12-month position with a salary range of $60,000-$70,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The anticipated start date is late July 2026. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database management systems. Preferred Experience with assessment management systems, learning management systems, or accreditation reporting. Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Familiarity with competency-based education, student success initiatives, or nursing education assessment.
