Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data management and reporting efforts for a long-term contract opportunity in Eagan, Minnesota. This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working with Microsoft Access, organizing information accurately, and turning raw data into useful business insights. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical ability, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to maintain dependable data resources for stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, exceptions, and meaningful patterns that support business decision-making.
  • Build, maintain, and update Microsoft Access databases to ensure information remains accurate, organized, and accessible.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports by extracting, validating, and summarizing data from multiple sources.
  • Review data for inconsistencies or missing details and resolve issues through careful research and verification.
  • Partner with internal teams to understand reporting needs and deliver clear, usable data outputs.
  • Improve data tracking methods and recommend practical ways to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Document database structures, reporting logic, and data handling procedures to support consistency and continuity.
