SQL Data Analyst

Contract to Hire

Only candidates with independent work authorization will be considered. Primary Responsibilities

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
Develop and maintain databases and data pipelines
Create reports and dashboards to visualize data insights
Identify data quality issues and implement solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
Document data structures, processes, and analysis methodologies
Support ad-hoc analysis requests from business teams
Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory standards Required Skills
Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, window functions)
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, indexes, and query performance
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Troubleshoot data issues and provide technical support to business users
Attention to detail and data accuracy Preferred Skills
Python or R programming
ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica)
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Business intelligence tools
Version control (Git)
SQL Server certifications
