Job Description:

SQL Data Analyst Remote Contract role

Job Summary:

This role is primarily technical (80%) with a functional component (20%), focusing on healthcare data reporting, technical specifications, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and healthcare data, particularly within Medicaid/Medicare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support analytics needs Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis Perform detailed data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity Create and manage source-to-target mappings and technical specifications Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and finalize business and technical requirements Support healthcare data reporting initiatives and analytics requests Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong technical skills Hands-on experience with: Power BI (report and dashboard development) SQL (data querying and manipulation) Experience working with healthcare data, preferably Medicaid or Medicare Strong data analysis, data validation, and problem-solving skills
