The Junior Data Administrator supports the management, maintenance, and integrity of Berjé's data systems across cloud and internal platforms. This role assists in maintaining databases, supporting data integrations, and ensuring accurate and reliable information for key business systems including ERP, WMS, LIMS, Regulatory software, inventory, and reporting tools. This role works closely with the IT team to help monitor data environments, support data-related projects, and assist with improving data quality and accessibility across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management Assist with maintaining and organizing company data across cloud and internal systems. Support database updates, data imports, and data validation processes. Design, build, and maintain data warehouse schemas Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple source systems Managing triggers, schedules, and pipeline dependencies Knowledge of linked services, datasets, and integration runtimes Understand different systems database architecture, tables, and pipelines Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across ERP and reporting platforms Database Support Assist with monitoring database performance and system health. Support routine maintenance tasks for databases hosted in AWS or other environments. Help troubleshoot basic database or data-related issues Data Quality & Governance Identify and report data inconsistencies or errors. Support data cleanup and data standardization initiatives. Assist in maintaining documentation for data structures and processes Reporting & Analytics Support Help prepare datasets for internal reporting and analytics. Support teams with data extracts and queries. Assist in maintaining dashboards or reporting tools used across departments. Systems & Project Support Assist with data-related components of IT projects such as system integrations, ERP updates, and automation initiatives. Work with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and workflow
Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree or current study in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data administration, IT support or data analysis Internship or academic experience with databases a + Experience with Azure SQL Database / Azure Synapse Skills and/or
Physical Requirements:
Strong SQL skills and experience with complex queries Performance tuning and query optimization Hands-on experience with SQL queries and joins Hands-on troubleshooting experience with data related issues Exposure to AWS database services (SQL, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.) Experience with ERP or business systems Basic scripting knowledge (Python or PowerShell) Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Strong attention to detail Analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Good organizational and documentation skills Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems Ability to work on site daily to foster team collaboration, communication and growth opportunities.
