Bilingual in Spanish Key Points- Data analytics not just data entry, SAP is a plus Job Description Data Specialists are responsible for the creation, analysis and maintenance of all information in the SAP system. They process all requests in a timely matter while ensuring accuracy. They are considered data experts and advise on any issues or data related conflicts to achieve data integrity and quality.
Responsibilities:
To analyze, organize and streamline the data that our company collects. Work closely with entire organization to ensure data accuracy. Create new items for all Merchandisers. Handle item maintenance in all systems. Thorough review of ads and offers in InMar. Conduct thorough data analysis of product information in various database applications. Create and maintain new business partners in SAP (stores, employees, vendors) Assist in implementation, testing and validating data. Troubleshoot all product issues to identify root cause and make any necessary corrections. Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and governance. Manage all data related reports and correct any errors daily. Work with IT Department to correct any system issues/enhancements on any data related items. Assist in preparation of training and educational materials. Understands & applies established data governance principles and policies. Provides insight to how the data is entered and utilized in the system enabled processes. Become Data Experts and educate peers and business as necessary on all data activities. Monitors and escalates any non-compliance of data supplied by data stewards or external parties such as stores or vendors. Additional data-related duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must be bilingual in Spanish Proficiency in MS Office applications Written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
