Job Description

Up to a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus The pay range for this role is $35.75-51.11.
Position Summary:
The Data Analyst Quality Review Nurse is a Bachelor-prepared Registered Nurse who specializes in data collection, trend analysis, and staff education. This professional evaluates nursing and therapy practices alongside patient data to promote improved clinical outcomes, maintain compliance, and strengthen patient safety. Key methods include metrics analysis, conducting audits, and developing action plans in collaboration with leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Responsible for collecting, auditing, and interpreting patient records and clinical data to evaluate quality outcomes. Assess negative trends and outcomes and deliver constructive feedback to staff members both individually and collectively.
Compliance and Auditing:
Oversees compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Acts as the agency's regulatory expert, ensuring practices align with updated federal and state standards.
Performance Improvement:
Pinpoint areas for growth and draft action plans. Execute the annual home health QAPI plan. Maintain federal and state survey readiness and respond as required.
Clinical Education:
Providing feedback and training to nursing staff regarding quality measures and evidence-based practices.
Risk Management:
Evaluating incidents , near misses, and clinical surveillance to reduce risk.
Other Duties:
Proficiency in Information Technology, such as electronic health records, communication systems, computers and equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the position. Skilled to collaborate with interdisciplinary team, including Physicians, Nurses, Therapists, and ancillary staff. The ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of the daily workflow. Demonstrates interpersonal skills that convey a positive and supportive attitude. Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities, urgent responses and challenging situations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor-prepared Registered Nurse licensed in NY Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience Strong understanding of home health standards, quality improvement methodologies, and data analysis
