Job Description

The Data Analyst translates operational and transactional data into actionable insights that improve Inventory optimization, supplier performance, procurement efficiency, material flow and warehouse operations, as well as cost, service level, and working capital performance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Extract, clean, and consolidate data from systems such as SAP Build and maintain reliable datasets and data models for: Inventory positions, demand and forecast data, purchase orders, and supplier lead times, and ensure data integrity through validation rules and audits.
Design and maintain dashboards for:
Inventory (DOH, turns, excess/obsolete) Supplier performance (lead time, quality, delivery adherence) Procurement KPIs (spend, contract compliance) Automate recurring reports and eliminate manual processes Analyze safety stock levels to support customer orders Provide data on demand variability and how we can improve forecast accuracy and order policies Support inventory strategies to optimize inventory spend and avoid stockouts Support sourcing decisions with spend analysis, cost breakdowns and benchmarking. Provide analytics to identify supplier risks and performance gaps. Build forecasting models using backward and forward-looking data (e.g., historical demand, open quotes, quote to order conversion rate, etc.) EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics is preferred, however, not a requirement for the position. 2 years of related experience. OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Excel, ERP systems, data interpretation, and building simple dashboards is preferred. Driver of continuous improvement, proactive approach to problem-solving, with a high sense of urgency.
