Job Description

Core Responsibilities Financial Analysis:
Assess client profitability, credit risk, loan lifecycles, and treasury management to drive sales and identify market trends.
Data Governance & Mapping:
Produce source-to-target mapping, maintain data dictionaries, and translate accounting concepts (General Ledger, P&L, Trial Balance) into technical definitions.
Regulatory Compliance:
Provide data required for financial reporting, anti-money laundering (AML), and regulatory frameworks like Basel III or SOX.
Dashboarding & Reporting:
Build executive-ready dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to track KPIs and automate manual reporting processes.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a bridge between non-technical Finance SMEs (Controllers, FP&A) and technical Data Engineers to deliver on business requirements.
Key Skills & Requirements Domain Expertise:
Solid understanding of core banking systems (CRM, core banking platforms), financial close processes, and banking products (deposits, loans, mortgages).
Technical Stack:
Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions), data profiling, and cloud platforms like Snowflake or
AWS. ETL
&
Modeling:
Experience with data warehousing methodologies (Kimball, Inmon) and building dimensional models.
Methodology:
Strong capability in Agile/Scrum delivery, writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
