Job Description

Data Analyst (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a global support team dedicated to delivering exceptional end-user services and IT support to internal employees. This position plays a critical role in ensuring data quality for dashboards and reports that empower business and service delivery teams to make informed, data-driven decisions. The successful candidate will work with a centralized reporting platform that leverages cutting-edge technologies to get, store, analyze, develop, and visualize data from enterprise sources, tracking operational performance and driving continuous improvement. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, solid interpersonal skills, and a genuine willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and update documentation for the centralized reporting platform Design, build, and enhance reports and dashboards using single or multiple data sources Create solutions to get, store, and visualize data from new sources Build AI and machine learning solutions to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies for problem management Perform data validation, testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency Improve dashboard usability and interactivity based on end user feedback Deliver recurring training sessions to help stakeholders understand and consume metrics Collaborate with stakeholders to support new reporting solutions and enhancements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics or reporting roles Proven experience working with backend data and IT service management modules Demonstrated experience supporting metrics and reporting functions Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and data services Experience using machine learning tools for creating no-code and low-code solutions Strong experience with business intelligence tools, including data visualization, modeling, and advanced analytics expressions Working knowledge of SQL and query languages Experience with low-code application development platforms Proficiency with productivity applications including spreadsheet, email, presentation, and word processing software Ability to quickly understand data models and structures from enterprise applications Experience conducting user acceptance testing for reports, dashboards, and metrics Strong communication skills with the ability to explain metrics and data concepts to end users
