Compliance Data Analyst (Contractor)

Overview:
The Compliance Data Analyst supports regulatory and internal policy adherence by analyzing large datasets, developing monitoring reports, and helping automate compliance processes. This role works closely with legal, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure continuous compliance across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large and complex datasets to support regulatory and compliance obligations
Develop data groupings and categorizations (e.g., by org, LOB, sub-LOB, etc.)
Propose and help define access control structures/files based on data groupings
Partner with legal and engineering teams to create, update, and maintain compliance-related datasets and documentation
Collaborate with compliance and engineering teams to implement monitoring and continuous compliance processes
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track compliance metrics
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel
Experience with Python or R for data analysis
Experience with Tableau or Power BI for reporting and visualization
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related field
5 years of relevant experience
Experience with database management and report creation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
