The Data Engineering Analyst I position is responsible for performing analysis on a wide array of file types using Excel and other software and utilizing big-data techniques in order to maintain reliable and accurate data flow through a proprietary data processing software suite. The ideal candidate will have worked with large data sets before and have strong communication and organizational skills. This person will work closely alongside a small team, sometimes independently, but also be comfortable communicating with outside business partners to troubleshoot issues that arise. An aptitude for problem solving is necessary, along with the ability to develop creative solutions to overcome data challenges. Over time this employee would be tasked to handle large projects on their own and therefore, must be capable of planning and allocating resources to meet deadlines. Who are we? Your impact:
  • Ensure data deadlines are met by routinely checking data sets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within data loading process
  • Communicate with other internal teams to resolve data issues as needed
  • Review test files and import data into production database
  • Balance regular tasks with daily troubleshooting issues that arise

About you:
  • College degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
