Intermediate Data Tester (No C2C, Hybrid Model, Mount Laurel NJ)

Intermediate Data Tester Job Description:

We are seeking three skilled Intermediate Data Testers to join our growing data team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in SQL and ETL testing, with a strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and data pipeline testing. Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, including ETL processes Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources Write complex SQL queries to analyze and verify data Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution Conduct data reconciliation and troubleshoot data discrepancies Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in data testing or ETL testing Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations) Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data validation techniques Experience working with large datasets and relational databases Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Azure Databricks Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms Knowledge of automation tools for data testing is an asset
