Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Principal Solution & Database Architect , you will serve as the technical visionary and hands-on leader for our healthcare data ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and managing sophisticated data and analytics solutions that bridge the gap between clinical care and business intelligence. This individual must lead by example and embody the company's Core Values in every decision and interaction, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation while driving technology initiatives that enhance patient care and provider efficiency. You will lead the integration of disparate data streams—including EMR Clinical, Revenue Cycle (RCM), and Accounting data —into a unified, high-performance architecture.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecture Design:
Lead the design and evolution of our healthcare data estate, including Data Lakes, SQL Databases, and Semantic Layers , specifically optimized for complex healthcare analytics, reporting, and business intelligence requirements. Data Integration +Database Development:
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that combine data from PointClickCare (or similar EMRs) , financial systems, and RCM platforms to provide a 360-degree view of patient and business health.Technical Leadership:
Direct a developers and/or analysts, providing mentorship and architectural oversight while remaining active in the codebase and database design.AI Orchestration:
Implement and manage AI Agents and LLM-based workflows to increase the speed and quality of data mapping, code generation, and automated testing.Strategic Communication:
Translate highly complex technical challenges into clear, actionable solutions for executive leadership, clinical providers, and non-technical stakeholders.Methodology Management:
Navigate and apply multiple project development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps) to meet the unique compliance and speed requirements of the healthcare industry.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
10+ years of proven experience in Data Architecture, Database Design, or Solution Architecture.Domain Expertise:
Extensive background in Healthcare Data & Analytics . You must have experience handling Clinical, RCM, and Financial data within a unified environment.EMR Proficiency:
Previous experience with PointClickCare or equivalent enterprise EMR and Revenue Cycle systems is required.Technical Stack:
• Expertise in Azure Data Services and SQL Server . o Direct experience (or equivalent) with Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI . o Proficiency in building and managing Data Lakes and Semantic Layers .Soft Skills:
A "Great Listener" persona with a problem-solving mindset. You must excel at simplifying complexity and communicating with empathy and clarity.Education:
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional work experience. Preferred Attributes The "Player-Coach"Mentality:
