Job Description
Are you a data professional who pairs strong technical expertise with the ability to connect, communicate, and collaborate with others? Do you enjoy turning complex data into meaningful insights while working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders? In this role, you'll develop SQL queries, reporting datasets, and Power BI dashboards while leading conversations to gather requirements, improve data quality, and support enterprise data initiatives. You'll help establish data standards, enhance data practices, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Hiring Range:
$94,000- $99,900 annually This position has an anticipated work schedule of Monday
- Friday, with flexible hours between 8:00 a.m.

Supervision Exercised:
This classification does not have supervisory authority; however, may be required to provide expertise or limited guidance or direction to employees, such as overseeing work quality, training, and guidance. Receives general supervision. This classification typically performs job duties by following established standard operating procedures and/or policies. Regular direction, guidance, and coaching from supervisor may be expected. There is a choice of the appropriate procedure or policy to apply to duties. Performance reviewed periodically. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Working knowledge of ETL processes that include data integration, data quality, and data profiling. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform. Knowledge of statistical analyses, datasets, and associated software such as SAS, R. Knowledge of agile project management methods. Skill in prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks and the ability to complete projects in a timely manner, frequently under deadline pressure. Familiarity with data architecture, storage, archiving, lineage, and impact analysis. Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to quickly and accurately wrangle, analyze and interpret data, identify and define data integrity issues, and make recommendations for resolution. Familiarity with business process modeling. Project management understanding of project scopes, project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for on-time, on-budget projects. Skilled in writing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and plans to meet management objectives. Excellent facilitation and conflict management skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Must possess a high level of professionalism and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information. Must have strong customer service, teamwork, and contract management skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams and key stakeholders, utilizing analytical skills in understanding data flows, dissecting problems, and delivering clear recommendations and guidance. Ability to respond in a flexible manner and reprioritize work as situations change. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County staff, partner organizations, and vendors. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, project management, business administration, or related field. Five years of related information technology experience. Experience with report development using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar products. Hands-on experience in SQL-based analysis and development and related backend database technologies. Demonstrated experience using Azure Synapse Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Bricks, and PowerBI. Demonstrated experience taking initiative and driving innovation. Preferred Education & Experience Experience with data/information lifecycle management and governance, metadata management, information classification, data quality, data usage, data analysis, document management, privacy, and information security. Experience with Qualtrics Voice of the Customer Platform. Experience with Azure Map API. Experience with mileage reimbursement policies and procedures. Licenses/Certificates Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications/licenses as applicable to position. If assigned to theDigital, Strategy, & Technology Department:
Must obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Compliance within six months of employment based on regular access to the Sheriff's Office buildings, systems, and/or networks. Pre-Employment Requirements Must pass conditional post offer background investigation and drug screen. Duties are primarily performed in an office and/or remote work environment dependent on Department discretion and business needs. May be required to work outside of normal business hours and respond to sensitive situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; may be required to carry a cell phone.
