Position Description:
Banner Defense is looking for a Senior Signature/Data Analyst to join our team! In this role you will support MDA Targets and Countermeasures program in solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre- and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.
Responsibilities:
Travel as required Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities Contribute to the development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within the required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of
Flight Test Targets Required Skills/Experience:
US Citizenship Interim DoD Security Clearance Master's degree and 12+ years' relevant experience
OR:
Bachelor's degree and 20+ years relevant experience with Department of Defense. Experience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired M.S. in Engineering or Physics Active DoD Security Clearance desired. Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software Familiar with STK software Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons
