Quality Intern

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Quality Patient Safety Division Directors, and/or other designated department supervisors, the Quality Intern is primarily concerned with querying data bases, as well as creating/producing management reports. Collects data, prepares statistical reports and other reports, and analyses to improve the services provided within the setting assigned. Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Some college - associates or bachelors level program Minimum Work Experience Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong computer skills essential including Microsoft Office and Database queries Numerical ability required for accurate arithmetic computations Ability to detect and avoid errors in computing figures Must be able to carry defined policies, procedures and duties under specific instructions. Must have ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to handle confidential information. Facilitates innovation as well as team building skills, creative thinking and problem solving skills. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 3 - Low Risk
