They will play a critical role on the team, developing data solutions to solve business and technical problems. What You'll Do Leading development & delivery of technical solutions Architecting and coding solutions using big data tools and techniques Understanding complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and analytical tools in the delivery of a comprehensive solution Understand the business goals/needs while utilizing big data and cloud technology to ingest, process, and analyze large amounts of data Understand how to transform findings into actionable business opportunities Understand the changing business needs of the organization/projects and recommend viable strategies for the future. Author and/or Review architecture/design and other technical documents, ensuring high quality deliverables and systems development across tech stacks and applications teams What You'll Need 5+ years of working experience in a technical lead or an architect role Understanding of Cloud technology (preferably AWS- EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, GLUE) and Big Data platforms (Hadoop- Sqoop, Hue, Impala, Hive, Hbase) 3-5 years of Experience developing solutions on Hadoop and NoSQL databases Experience with data modeling and business logic. Ability to think outside the box and understand the big picture thought process Ability to communicate clearly to business owners Highly proficient in SQL -Data architecting experience a plus. Tableau and R is a plus Data Mining/Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence experience a plus Experience with automated deployments and source code/configuration management tools such as GitHub, AWS Cloud formation, Jenkins, Terraform, etc. Ability to understand the big picture and drive the initiatives the lead to completion of the overall big picture Excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills and detail orientation required.
