Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a team in Midland, Texas in an onsite contract-to-permanent role. This position centers on managing and interpreting data to support business decisions, with a strong emphasis on building reliable reporting and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, and R, and is comfortable working across large datasets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize, maintain, and validate data assets to support accurate reporting and analysis across the business.
  • Develop dashboards and interactive reports in Power BI that translate complex information into clear insights for stakeholders.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Use Python and R to perform data analysis, automate recurring tasks, and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Apply DAX to create calculated measures and strengthen reporting capabilities within BI solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Support the design and improvement of data pipelines and related processes to enhance data availability and quality.
  • Contribute to modern data platform initiatives, including work involving Microsoft Fabric when applicable.
