PERFORMANCE DATA ANALYST

Sr. Performance Data Analyst POSITION OBJECTIVE
Reporting directly to Engineering, the objective of this position is to collect, analyze, and interpret key machine and production data to support operational efficiency, identify trends, and drive data-informed decision-making. By transforming raw data into actionable insights, this role plays a critical part in improving production performance, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics or Applied Mathematics
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
Good organizational skills and high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights
Ability to complete multiple tasks and demands
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect real-time and historical data from production machinery, sensors, and manufacturing systems
Analyze machine performance metrics, including uptime, downtime, cycle time, throughput, and yield
Identify inefficiencies, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement using statistical analysis and root cause investigation
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate trends and KPIs to key stakeholders
Develop recommendations and support implementation of actions to reduce downtime, scrap and inefficiencies.
Present findings and actionable insights to the Plant Manager and other leadership stakeholders.
Support operations and engineering teams with data-driven insights to enhance equipment utilization and maintenance planning
Collaborate with IT and automation teams to ensure proper data capture, system integration, and data quality
Track and report on the impact of improvement initiatives, including cost savings, efficiency gains, or quality improvements
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and best practices for data use across production teams
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives with data-driven insights.
Attend Department meeting(s) as needed
Research information from production logs
Research product through AS400
