Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Operational Insights Data Analyst to support a large government customer in Alexandria, VA. This role focuses on analyzing data from training events, exercises, and real-world operations to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will turn operational data into clear recommendations that help improve mission readiness and performance.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data from exercises, training events, and operations to identify trends and key insights Work closely with teams and leadership to gather feedback and understand operational challenges Create reports, briefings, and recommendations to improve performance and readiness Identify capability gaps and highlight best practices across operations Lead or support discussions to share insights and drive continuous improvement Help integrate findings into future planning, training, and operational processes Stay up to date on relevant technologies, threats, and operational best practices Coordinate with external partners (interagency and coalition) to share insights and improve collaboration. $30/hr to $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.   •  Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  •  MA/MS with 10+ years' experience; BA/BS with 15+ years; AA/AS with 17+ years; or HS/GED with 19+ years.
  •  Proven experience in conducting After Action Reviews (AAR) to include operational insights analyses within a military or interagency environment.
  •  Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to brief senior military leadership and operational teams effectively.
  •  In-depth knowledge of military operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  •  Familiarity with joint and interagency operations, coalition dynamics, and the integration of operational insights across diverse operational contexts.
