Job Description

Job DescriptionECS is seeking a Data Application Analyst - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's mission-critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.
Please Note:
This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the
RCC-ARNG
Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain enterprise data applications to support reporting, integration, and operational analytics.

Implement secure coding practices to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity guidelines.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across the enterprise infrastructure.

Support data integration processes and validate data quality to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Document code and system changes to maintain accurate records and facilitate future updates.

Ensure applications comply with configuration management procedures and RMF controls.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and user experience.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to maintain operational efficiency.

Compliance:
DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required):
CSSLP, GCLD, GSECEducation:
Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise data applications within DoD or Federal environments.

Proven experience in designing data-driven applications for reporting and system integration.

Strong understanding of secure coding practices and DoD cybersecurity guidance.

Experience in optimizing application performance and ensuring system reliability.

Familiarity with configuration management procedures and enterprise security standards.
