software Drafting Python GIS Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Geographic Information Analyst to join our team and drive innovative spatial data solutions. In this role, you will harness advanced GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology and data analysis techniques to support a variety of projects across urban planning, construction, environmental management, and infrastructure development. Your expertise will enable us to visualize complex spatial data, manage large datasets, and deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while working with cutting-edge tools and collaborative teams dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from diverse sources such as GPS devices, land surveys, and remote sensing technologies. Develop detailed maps and visualizations using GIS software like ArcGIS and CAD tools such as AutoCAD and CAD. Manage spatial databases and relational databases using SQL, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility for various projects. Create data models and perform analysis to support land use planning, construction projects, or environmental assessments. Automate workflows through scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, and APIs to streamline data collection, processing, and visualization tasks. Collaborate with project teams to design technical solutions for complex spatial problems, providing leadership in GIS-related initiatives. Document project progress through reports, SharePoint documentation, and presentations that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders. Skills Proficiency in GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and related tools like Data visualization software. Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques, GPS technology, and data collection methodologies. Experience with Auto
CAD, CAD
drafting, and construction-related spatial planning. Expertise in database management systems including SQL, relational databases, and data modeling techniques. Ability to write scripts using Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages to automate processes or develop APIs for data integration. Familiarity with data analysis skills necessary for interpreting spatial datasets accurately. Knowledge of project management principles applicable to large-scale GIS or construction projects.
