out of 5 stars 1 Waterfront Pl, Morgantown, WV 26501 Full-time West Virginia University Foundation 697 reviews Full-time Job Summary The primary function of the Advancement Data Analyst I is to assist the Advancement Data group with all aspects of data integrity, data maintenance, ad hoc reporting support, data validation, analytics support, application testing, application implementation, and end user service and support. Duties and responsibilities Data Management including collection, maintenance, interpretation, and reporting of: Constituent Data Biographic Demographic Relationships including: Individuals Organizations Education Prospect Management Employment Any other identified data elements deemed appropriate for use in fundraising and/or analytics Gift/Revenue processing including: Pledges Outright Gifts Cash Check Credit Card Planned Gifts Matching Gifts Stock Gifts Gifts-in-Kind Wire Transfers Work in conjunction with the Finance group to ensure compliance with Foundation policies, IRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) guidelines Work in conjunction with the Donor Engagement group to ensure data and reporting accuracy and compliance with Foundation stewardship programs Support all data related inquiries from Foundation team members and WVU affiliates. Execute technical service requests for applications and web tools Participate in testing, training, documentation and implementation of new or revised solutions Take tangible steps to improve personal and professional technical knowledge and expertise Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Business; Bachelor's degree in a related field and one or more years of experience. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Analytical mindset Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the technical requirements Ability to consistently produce quality work under tight project deadlines Ability to work with significant attention to detail and thoroughness Ability to work independently Work within an environment of consistent improvement Project professionalism, enthusiasm, and a "can do" attitude Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) Technical Skills Ability to comprehend the core constituent data system and all related aspects mentioned in the above "Essential Duties and Responsibilities" section Ability to use and provide end user support for solutions Ability to be the primary technical facilitator for applications and web tools. Direct reports N/A Grateful Patients WVU Medicine and the WVU Foundation established the Grateful Patients, Families and Friends Program to provide opportunities for individuals, family members and friends to recognize the exceptional care provided by WVU Medicine healthcare professionals. The West Virginia University Foundation, Inc. (WVUF) operates the Grateful Patient Families and Friends (GPFF) fundraising program as a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) compliant program. As such, access to the data and the GPFF system is restricted. This position has query access to the entire Blackbaud CRM data structure. Such access allows the employee full access to all data including GPFF data fields. This position does NOT have access to the GPFF Module within the Blackbaud CRM system. If access to the Module is determined to be necessary in the future that access must be approved by the Vice President of Infrastructure & Advancement Solutions.Similar remote jobs
