Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Data Scientist to join our forward-thinking analytics team. In this role, you will harness the power of data to uncover insights, develop predictive models, and drive strategic decision-making across various business units. Your expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and big data technologies will be essential in transforming complex datasets into actionable intelligence. Duties Develop and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools to solve real-world problems. Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis on large datasets stored in Hadoop, SQL databases, and cloud environments like AWS. Design and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow from various sources into centralized data warehouses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions involving natural language processing, unsupervised learning, and predictive analytics. Deploy models into production environments using model deployment best practices, ensuring scalability and reliability. Perform database design and management to support analytics initiatives, utilizing SQL, SAS, Talend, and other data integration tools. Stay current with emerging trends in AI, quantum engineering, and machine learning frameworks to continuously enhance analytical capabilities. Requirements Proven experience in data science or analytics roles with a strong foundation in machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning methods. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA for automation and model development. Extensive knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and related ecosystems for handling large-scale datasets. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS for model training, deployment, and data storage solutions. Strong understanding of database design principles along with expertise in SQL for querying complex datasets. Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow for developing intelligent applications. Ability to work with diverse data sources including linked data and enterprise databases; experience with SAS is a plus. Excellent analytical skills complemented by experience in data mining, analytics tools like Looker or Tableau for visualization purposes.
