Duration:
6-7 Months with possibility of extension. Job Summary The Data Scientist applies advanced analytical techniques—including machine learning, statistical modeling, forecasting, and optimization—to develop data-driven solutions that enhance business performance. This role focuses on transforming complex data into actionable insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy advanced analytical models (e.g., forecasting, econometrics, machine learning, optimization) to solve complex business problems Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key drivers of performance Perform data validation, error analysis, and model improvement Design and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools to communicate insights effectively Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions Research and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance analytics capabilities Lead, mentor, and support junior team members and interns Ensure compliance with organizational policies, including Environmental, Health & Safety standards Qualifications & Skills Strong expertise in data science, machine learning, statistics, and mathematical modeling Proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, R, Power BI/Tableau, Azure ML, and automation platforms Experience with data visualization and storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Leadership and mentoring experience preferred Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments Education Bachelor's and Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related field PhD preferred Experience 3 years of experience in analytical model development and deployment 5 years preferred in industries such as hospitality, theme parks, retail, or entertainment
Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
