What You Will Be Doing This person will join a highly skilled team of systems engineering technologists and algorithm developers supporting various contracts and IRADs within Missiles and Fire Control. Modeling & Simulation Engineer tasks include:

• Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture
• Develop, verify, and validate both complex models and simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations (6-DOF) and effects-based simulations
• Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements
• Perform critical studies, analyses, and test activities
• Support ground and flight test efforts including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) activities
• Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and/or external customers.

The candidate must have experience in weapon system and/or sensor modeling, both for the items to be modeled, and the synthetic modeled environments used to stimulate the simulated hardware. The M&S Engineer must be able to work with subsystem and software engineers to integrate MATLAB models, C++ models, and actual tactical software into the simulations. The M&S Engineer must be proficient in C++ and MATLAB. The candidate must have good communication skills and must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment. National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
