This role supports an NLP bias-detection system built with Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, FastAPI, and Docker. The Stronghold Data Science Bias Detection & Model Evaluation Intern works with the team to understand existing capabilities. The Intern will build and execute a plan to modernize the capability. The intern will work directly with the team to deliver updates through the sprint process including presentations to executive leadership. The intern will receive real-time feedback in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities •Essential Functions) Track action items and milestone deliverables; identify and report delays or risks promptly. Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to gather inputs, share status updates, and resolve scheduling conflicts. Support the Team Lead by assisting with internal reporting and documentation. Work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks independently, and follow through to completion (including occasional after-hours support when required).
