Data Product Owner (

341242 ) Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the product owner for assigned data products, accountable for accuracy, completeness, usability, and alignment with defined business use cases, in partnership with data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders. Define and maintain data product requirements for assigned data products, and apply established success metrics, and quality standards in partnership with business stakeholders, analytics, and IT teams. Monitor ongoing data health and performance, proactively identifying data quality issues, usage gaps, and opportunities for refinement or improvement, and escalating or partnering as appropriate to address findings. Analyze and monitor the ongoing business value of data products by assessing adoption, usage and relevance, and surface recommendations to inform enhancement, prioritization, or lifecycle decisions. Contribute to the design and maintenance of semantic models for data products for assigned data products, including light data transformations, calculated fields, and business logic required to support reporting and analytics for self‑contained products, while partnering with data engineering for larger‑scale or upstream transformations. Apply established data structure, documentation, and governance standards to help ensure data products are structured and governed to be AI‑ready and enable downstream use by data agents and AI‑driven applications where applicable. Enable and support business users by providing guidance on how to access, interpret, and apply data products effectively in support of decision‑making. Contribute to data product training and enablement, including the creation of curriculum content, learning materials, and pilot or cohort‑based training execution to drive adoption and responsible use. Collaborate cross‑functionally to reinforce documentation practices, shared accountability, and responsible data usage, helping ensure data products are well‑defined, discoverable, and governed in alignment with established data standards
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
Years of Experience:
3+ years of relevant work experience is required.
Software Knowledge:
Basic programming and data querying skills, such as Python, R, and SQL, to support data exploration, validation, and light transformations for data products is required. Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms, such as Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric is required. Experience working with SAP data, including transactional, master, or analytical datasets is preferred. Experience working with Salesforce data, such as CRM objects or operational data is preferred. Familiarity with enterprise data catalog and governance tools is required.
Additional Requirements:
Strong foundational skills required in: Business analytics and problem-solving. Statistics and data interpretation. Ability to think strategically while executing at a practical, hands-on level.
