There is no minimum number of years of college education to apply for our Co-op program, but our Summer Internships are only available to those who have previously completed a Co-op with SME. Your Co-op experience begins with an orientation/training period lasting several weeks followed by on-the-job training with full-time SME Team Members. Responsibilities Learn and apply modern data science tools and techniques using Fabric. Contribute to data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation efforts under guidance. Support the development of data models and business metrics. Assist in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI. Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs. Validate data accuracy and document datasets, transformations, and logic. Requirements Experience with Python (Pandas), SQL, and Power BI. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, and Teams. Basic understanding of data concepts, analytics, and problem-solving. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Clear communication skills and ability to ask questions. Key qualities Intellectually curious and eager to learn. Growth-oriented and open to feedback. Collaborative and professional. Responsible and ethical with firm data.
