BBU is seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join our growing data science team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced data scientists to develop analytical solutions, build predictive models, and extract insights from complex datasets. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience with real-world data science applications while contributing to business-critical projects. Data Analysis & Exploration Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data quality and characteristics Create data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical approaches. Model Development & Implementation Build and test predictive models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques Assist in feature engineering and selection for machine learning models Perform model evaluation using appropriate metrics and validation techniques Support deployment of models to production environments Data Pipeline & Automation Develop and maintain data pipelines for model training and scoring Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and SQL Automate repetitive data processing tasks Follow software development best practices including version control (Git)REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field Master's degree preferred but not required Experience 4 years of data science or analytics experience (internships, projects, or academic research count) Demonstrated experience through personal projects, Kaggle competitions, or open-source contributions Exposure to real-world datasets and problem-solvingTechnical Skills Programming:
