This role will focus on enhancing targeting models, building scalable machine learning solutions, and delivering production-ready analytics that drive measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, hands-on machine learning experience, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Learning Model Development Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to improve targeting accuracy and overall business performance Apply advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to enhance existing models and build new predictive solutions Evaluate model performance and continuously refine algorithms for improved outcomes Feature Engineering & Data Preparation Build scalable feature engineering pipelines that transform raw, complex datasets into high-quality model inputs Work with large, complex datasets including claims or similarly structured data while ensuring data integrity and usability Perform data cleansing, validation, and exploratory analysis to improve model readiness Production Deployment & Scalability Convert analytical models and scripts into scalable, production-ready pipelines Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and reproducibility Support model deployment, monitoring, and ongoing performance optimization Partner with engineering teams to ensure scalable implementation of AI/ML solutions Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with data science, analytics, product, and business teams to translate business challenges into technical solutions Clearly communicate methodologies, assumptions, and model outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders Provide strategic insights that influence business decision-making Required Qualifications Master s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning model development Proven experience taking models from concept through deployment into production environments Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS Deep expertise in machine learning and/or deep learning methodologies Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets in collaborative environments Preferred Qualifications Experience working in healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, or other highly regulated industries Experience working with claims data or similarly complex datasets Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and governance requirements Experience with MLOps practices including pipeline automation, deployment, monitoring, and model lifecycle management What We re Looking For A self-driven professional who can independently lead model development initiatives Someone who thrives in collaborative environments and contributes to team success A candidate who balances technical excellence with business impact Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build scalable, meaningful AI/ML solutions in fast-paced environments
