Job Title:
Model Based Systems Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer to lead development programs through the Systems Engineering process using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches that support DoD Digital Engineering goals. You will work closely with domain experts and software development teams to realize program designs and digital engineering objectives. Responsibilities Lead development programs through the Systems Engineering process using MBSE approaches. Implement rigorous MBSE approaches using SysML in MagicDraw. Work closely with domain experts and software development teams to achieve program designs and digital engineering goals. Implement traceability between MBSE model content and domain-specific analysis tools and simulation. Essential Skills Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering. Experience building models from scratch using SysML. Familiarity with MagicDraw. Programming skills in C/C++, and Python. Additional Skills & Qualifications Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance. MS or PhD in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum of 2 years experience working with SysML models in MagicDraw or similar tools. Experience with software-intensive systems and open architecture. Domain expertise in Radar, Electronic Warfare, Acoustic, Sensor Resource Management, Sea/Air/Space, Large-Scale Platform Test Systems, Cyber Physical Systems, Open System Architectures (UCI, OMS, COARPS). Agile software development experience. Familiarity with specific government open architectures, such as Open Mission Systems. Experience with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM). Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work schedule in an office setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
