Senior Data Scientist

JOB SUMMARY

This is a remote role for a Data Science Consultant. The ideal candidate will lead projects utilizing expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to develop innovative solutions for complex business problems, ensuring high client satisfaction. Responsibilities include defining project objectives, scope, and timelines, breaking down intricate business challenges, and devising effective solutions focused on client needs. The role requires innovative thinking, resourcefulness, and the use of best practices to address challenges and deliver impactful solutions, including conducting market research and communicating insights. Establishing strong client relationships, understanding project requirements, and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences are crucial. The role involves handling large and complex data sets, implementing model scoring, assembling data meeting business requirements, applying business acumen to data analysis, performing ad hoc analyses, and collaborating with data stakeholders to enhance data quality. Mentoring junior data scientists and conducting training sessions are also key aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc analyses based on evolving business needs.
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and data content.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to address challenges and enhance data quality.
• Mentor junior data scientists, fostering professional growth within the team.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance overall data science skills within the organization. Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment.
• 7+ year(s) of experience participating in projects that focused on one or more of the following areas: Predictive Analytics, Data Design, Statistics, AI/ML, ML Ops.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Operations Research Modeling & Optimization including Gurobi or other solvers like CPLEX.

This includes defining, developing, refining, and delivering network optimization models for large enterprises, with experience in optimization formulation, ops research, and programming skills. Domain experience in Resource Allocation, Scheduling, Cost Optimization, Vehicle Routine, Network Modeling, or Strategic Planning is required. Ability to scrutinize a solution and give a report to a senior audience, such as performing a sensitivity model and presenting to stakeholders, is essential.

• 3+ years of experience using Python, R and/or C# to analyze disparate datasets.
• Ability to travel at least 25%. Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree preferred.
