Job Description

Job Description As a Data Scientist at AutoZone, you'll be the analytical powerhouse behind our business solutions. You'll dig deep into data, build models, and deliver insights that shape everything from marketing strategies to customer experiences. Your work will help us connect the dots and unlock opportunities hidden within our data-ultimately driving growth and innovation across the organization. Responsibilities Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior data scientists and leadership to understand business needs.
  • Research and design innovative statistical models for data analysis.
  • Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Mine and analyze data to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategies.
  • Develop predictive models to improve customer experience and revenue generation.
  • Build and maintain A/B testing frameworks and monitor model performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models and track outcomes. Qualifications What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field ( Master's preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and programming languages such as R or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical techniques (e.g., regression, cluster analysis , time series modeling).
  • Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, actionable way.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for problem-solving. You'll Go the Extra Mile If You Have
  • Advanced experience in predictive modeling and pattern recognition.
  • Expertise in developing custom algorithms and data models.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and model quality assessment.
  • A track record of leveraging data to drive measurable business outcomes.
