Job Description:
Role Summary :
As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Navigating Care you will contribute to the architecture, development and optimization of data pipelines related to NCs novel healthcare data assets. Acting as a conduit between engineering and analytics, you will use your expertise to work cohesively between these groups in support of upstream pipeline development and downstream analytics output. You find joy in mentoring Analytics teams and building a culture centered on software development best practices.
Responsibilities :
Build, maintain and optimize data pipelines and stores using cloud technologies including but not limited to (aws-glue, spark, python, snowflake, dbt, circleCI, Matillion) Provide technical guidance and development as it relates to NC's clinic-facing analytics suite Form partnerships with engineers, analysts, and product managers to advance NCs initiatives Provide mentorship to engineers and analysts in the development of new procedures and best practices Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Required or Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or above in quantitative or engineering fields (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or similar). Development experience in python/R, SQL, Git workflows and dbt. Experience developing configurable/re-usable pipelines (aws-glue, dbt, python, Matillion). Familiarity with the AWS cloud ecosystem for data storage and analytics Familiarity with interoperability standards (CCDs, HL7, FHIR)
