We are seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer who will specialize in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) of complex technical solutions to join our team in sunny Grand Prairie, TX! What You Will Be Doing This person will join a highly skilled team of systems engineering technologists and algorithm developers supporting various contracts and IRADs within Missiles and Fire Control. Modeling & Simulation Engineer tasks include:- Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architecture
- Develop, verify, and validate both complex models and simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations (6-DOF) and effects-based simulations
- Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements
- Perform critical studies, analyses, and test activities
- Support ground and flight test efforts including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) activities
- Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and/or external customers.

Post secondary STEM degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.- Interim Clearance is needed to start this position.
- Willing to work onsite in a classified area or lab environment
- Demonstrated experience in digital simulation development for infrared sensor systems
- Professionally demonstrated advanced proficiency in C++
- Professionally demonstrated advanced proficiency in Matlab or Python
- Professionally demonstrated strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformations
- Strong written/verbal communication and organizational and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
Active Secret Clearance- Experience operating in Linux environments
- Experience with Agile development
- Experience performing one or more of the following technical GNC assignments: o Develop and analyze algorithms such as guidance, navigation, autopilot, inertial tracking, and servo control algorithms o Develop and/or verify/validate complex vehicle models and simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations o Demonstrated strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformations o Develop, verify and validate complex Electro Optical / InfraRed and/or Radio Frequency sensor models o Ability to perform preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses • Experience deploying algorithms that satisfy real-time performance requirements • Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and software version control such as
