Job Description
Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Customer Analytics team. This role focuses on driving customer activation strategies by leveraging data science techniques, particularly classification models, to identify, predict, and influence customer behavior. You will work extensively with PySpark on Databricks, and lead efforts in model development, hyperparameter tuning, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy classification models to predict customer activation, engagement, and retention.
- Design, implement, and optimize PySpark pipelines in Databricks for large-scale data processing.
- Apply advanced hyperparameter tuning techniques (e.g., grid search, random search, Bayesian optimization) to enhance model performance.
- Work cross-functionally with data engineering, product, and marketing teams to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate model performance using robust validation techniques and real-world KPIs.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering tailored to activation use cases.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, PySpark
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for big data processing and automation.
- Demonstrated experience in classification models (logistic regression, random forest, gradient boosting, etc.).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
